Hello,
Check out these Apisto Inca50's I got yesterday. My buddy and I went fishing for the weekend, we didn't catch any fish on the trip, so on the way back home we stopped by Matt's (aka Farm41) house and picked up some plants and fish.
These Apistos are awesome, supreme quality. They're living in my 29gallon semi-community tank right now, which consists of 2 Apistogramma Inca50, 6 black neon tetras, 1 zebra danio, 1 pearl gourami, 1 recovering betta, 1 small geophagus surinamensis, 3 bumble bee gobies, 3 kuhli loaches, and 3 snails. The apistos are large, and the male is actually the biggest fish in the tank, so I have a feeling they'll be fine.
Well enough talk, here are the pictures -
Floating in the bag
This is what the male looked like when I got home from drinking last night and turned on the lights.
This is him today.
The female is checking him out, eggs may be coming soon...
I haven't got a good shot of his tail yet, but it is really cool, and you can see a bit of it in this shot. He has a "fan" tail which has a bright curved orange stripe in it, you can see a bit of the orange in this shot. Oh and this picture has not been tampered with, I took it with no flash.
