methyblue as anti egg fungus

i have used this alot with my cichlasoma octofaciatum and aequidens rivulatus with great results. my pair of m. ramirezi has had almost 1/2 of the eggs fungus and not hatch the last 2 spawns. they just laid eggs again and i am thinking about using it to help the mother out a little in keeping the eggs from fungussing. are ram eggs/fry tough enough to handle this med or should i just leave them alone and hope for the best?

I've used it on M. ramirezi eggs without problems.

thanks i'll give it a try if it hurts them they'll always lay eggs again in another 2 weeks
