German Blue Rams laid eggs

Hello everyone,
I awoke this morning to find my Rams had laid eggs and are guarding them well. The male and female take places guarding them and the female hovers above them every so often and fans them. I hope to have fry in the coming days. Any advice and information will be greatly appreciated.

The fry are tricky to raise because the parents can't protect them very well, and they are very small.

Thank you for the information, I really appreciate it. I have bad news though. The day I was expecting the eggs to hatch everything started out ok, then a couple of hours later all the eggs were gone. At first I thought they moved the eggs or that they hatched and they moved the wigglers, becuase they parents were hiding behind the rock they laid the eggs on. After a day though they went about there business as usual. I think they ate them.

Sadly, this isn't all that uncommon with Blue Rams.

I don't know the dH but the ph is 6.6. Nitrites are 0, ammonia is 0 and nitrates are 5ppm

You really need soft and acid conditions. So pH can be lower and probably the hardness is to high. Try filtration over peat to lower pH. Do you use Rain/RO/Tap water? If the last you can be pretty sure it is to hard. Then try rainwater of reversed osmose and then filtration over peat to lower pH and buffer it.
