As folks may know, a big earthquake hit the east coast of the US, an unusual place for earthquakes, yesterday near Washington DC, where I live. No cracks in my tanks. The interesting thing was I only lost 2 fish, both male A. agasazzis (double red), in two different tanks, pairs bought at two different times from different LFS (one m-f pair bought in May, in the 75 g show tank from LFS A, no longer in business; one m-f pair bought last Saturday in the 12g quarantine/breeding tank from LFS B, still in business). The females are so far still ok. It's probably just coincidence, but maybe males are more sensitive to earthquakes/stress?
(I guess this is more of a question for Mike W, since there was an earthquake in Colorado yesterday morning)
