The body shape, high position of the lateral spot and shape of the jugal bar are those of a male A. nijsseni. But the black pelvian fins is an unusual character for a male A. nijsseni. While it is not a good character for sexing most Apistogramma species, it's usually usefull for sexing young A. nijsseni (as well as A. panduro).

Hi ..

This videos are showing female vs. female behaviour I think. (when no male is present ..)

I have watched your earlier video also..
I guess you have got 2 females... 1 nijsseni (yellow)+ 1 ???????

The spot on the body is much smaller and is placed almost above the lateral band compared to the yellow female
+ the caudal spot is also much bigger on this "unknown" female.. "She" is looking like Ap. martini/pantalone..( Apart the split caudal fin !! ), but to me she is not!?????!!!!!????!!
Especially visualized in the video in your first thread...!!
By the way...Ap. nijsseni males do get much more blue ..

Check with your Store if they had any other Apisto species closely related to nijsseni in their tanks at the moment you got yours !

To me, they are not belonging to the same Apisto species..

Yes Oregon or even Zwilling are possibilities. It is hard to ID the fish from just 1 photo, especially since I can't see the shape of the dorsal fin.
