Exciting news here for us, my first baby rams are baby's no more. They must be grown up, they have had their first spawn in the growout tank. They were free swimming on Nov. 18 and now we have a pair guarding eggs already.

That is really pretty amazing considering the fact that it was only 2.5 months since their birth. I am curious what kind of hatch-rate you will have. Sexual maturity might not have been reached yet. Let us know if the eggs hatch.

No hatch, the panduro's didn't give them much of a chance. I would watch them chase one or 2 off and another would sneak in the back door. I didn't expect any survivers, in the grow out tank, and considering the maturity thing like you said. They are just too young.

Good expereince for them though, I think
