Stressed male?

Recently, my male A. agassizii seemed to be under some stress. He likes to hide in a corner and turns into a dark brown coloured fish.

He eats little but still chases any fish that comes near him or his territory. Normal brown poo-poo (worried that it is internal parasite again). One reason I think he is stressed is because of a very very very yellow female which he was originally courting a week ago. Now the female chases him, instead of the other way round originally, or anyone who goes near to her territory.

Is this normal? Should I remove the female?

Is the female guarding her eggs/fry??
A yellow female aggie beating a male aggie is a usual signal of
the pair having babies... if it is possible, you may wish to isolate
the male for a while.... Plus, some general tonic medicine could be used to
avoid the stressed male from infection (e.g., Waterlife's Myxazin)...
