Hi,
After I lost all my borellii to suspected parasites, i've now given it 4 weeks & started looking for replacements - my lfs has a few diff sp in now, one thats appeals is the A. cacatuoides.
Theres a few in the tank to choose from, some ragged fins which I aint touching, the others are a mixture of sizes - very small approx 1" with bright yellow colouration which I suspect is the female and some much larger ones (at least twice the size) with orange finnage & drabber body colouration.
Have searched the forum but can't find any definate way to see a deffo female/male, any tips?
The larger ones seemed to have a black stripe under the eye which stopped short, the smaller seemed to carry this stripe through the eye and onto the head (from memory anyway!)
Cheers
Si
