New Tank, Need Help with Stocking

Yup many species in the apple/mystery snail family (Ampullariidae) do like to climb out, and some of them have to climb out to lay eggs, including P. bridgesii which is probably the kind you had in your other tank.

Okay. Well we have since used pieces mesh to block any ways out of the tank thus making it more difficult for the snails to escape again. I even did the same thing with my tank just in case the rams horns decide they want to escape the tank.

I ordered some cichlid caves from Dr. foster and smith and they arrived today so I am slowly getting everything I need.
