Today I noticed my female A. baenschi attacking her now one month old fry. I quickly netted her and the male out and began looking in the caves. Sure enough, there was a pretty small group of eggs in a piece of 1/2" pvc. I moved the pvc piece along with the parents. In the past I have had the female resume care, hoping it works out again!
Maybe I am just lazy, but this has happened to me on more than one occasion. Do any of you have any tips and tricks to salvage the spawn? Excluding artificially hatching/raising the fry.
