Making a new 4 feet tank for Apistogramma

within few days i'll start a journal for my new 48*18*18 blackwater amazonia with apistogramma and peruvian scalare angel.

You will definitely have problems with fry survival. Cardinal (Red Neon) Tetras are exceptional fry predators. If you want a community tank and are not interested in raising many fry, then the tank is great. If you want a breeding tank, then I suggest you replace the Cardinal (Red Neon) Tetras with a less predatory (to fry) species.

ya that's why for next time after few days of spawning i'll separate mom with her babies in a new tank and 'll rause them in that tank.
BTW,which are less predatory fish that can go well in this set up?

Try pencilfish or hatchetfish. Any small, peaceful top-swimming species with an upturned mouth should work.

my A.bitaneata will rip out all of the Cardinal Tetras whenever they want to breed/

yes i also see the same thing when agassizi bred for the first time.
