I am planning a 29 gallon tank and want to use special kitty kitty litter from Wally World as substrate. Will west African sand sifters have a problem with this?
Thanks, Luke
Some kitty litter has chemicals like perfumes added to it. Fritz once sold an ammonia absorber that was an all natural zeolite - and was exactly the same product as their kitty litter! You could get 10 pounds of kitty litter for about the same price as 8 oz of ammonia absorber. Isn't marketing wonderful?
mineral oil is the hydrating content of all moisturising products, its really cheap. The moisturising industry makes billions out of adding perfumes, creamy looking additives etc , then they flog it off in tiny quantities for 20x the price...... but, try buying a 6litre plastic jug of mineral oil for your girlfriends birthday gift.
