It's been up four about 3 mos now, but only 1.5 w/ a substantial bio-load. I lost an Apisto last night and I think I may lose another today. As soon as I get home I am going to medicate my tank w/ Aquarisol and Melafix.mooman said:How new is the tank? I have seen this happen in one of my tanks. the problem went away once the tank hit about three months (if I remember). No matter how little I fed, fungus would form on the smallest piece of uneaten food. (At the time I was trying to get A. panduros to accept dry food as a staple, so there was always a little bit of uneaten food in the tank). It's not harmful (I've seen fish even pick at it and spit it out). It just looks really gross.
