Female Apisto agression

I have two female Atahualpa, that are constantly going after each other around the tank. They are the only two in a 20 gallon,

Seems normal. IME atahualpa are kinda mean to each other. I was unable to keep 2 females in a 36" tank with 6" of leaf litter

None of my females love each other. They are not nearly as aggressive as you describe - i have 2 cockatoo females in one tank and 2 honglsoi in another - they poke at each other now and then - one will swim off and everyone will be happy.
