I am no expert but I do not believe that the fish pictured is A diplotania. I do not see the distinct split lateral line stripe. Mind you I am no Mike Wise.

Are these domestically bred fish or wild? The markings on the caudal fin look wrong for A. diplotaenia. I believe that it is more likely that it is A. sp. Parati (A 40). I would need some more photos to be certain - photos of the female, better (more in focus) photos of the tail.

Definitly not A. diplotaenia.

I think that is not an Apistogramma specie but a young Taeniacara candidi ;).
