Anomalochromis thomasi

Hi everyone,

I am looking for Anomalochromis thomasi. If anyone has any leads please let me know. I had some success with Apistogramma cacatuoides. The species bred twice and I still have the offspring. Hopefully they spawn again.

Andy, I guess you put this in the wrong forum. A. thomasi isn't a rift lake cichlid; it's West African (Liberia, Guinea, & Sierra Leone). I put it here, which is more appropriate. Anyway A. thomasi is often available commercially. Look on Aquabid and other commercial site. This is a nice beautiful fish and relatively easy to breed.

The Wet Spot has them quite frequently, and they post on Aquabid.

Jeff, aka aquaticclarity on this forum, has also had them quite often though not sure how long it will be before he gets going again after the move.

Good choice in fish, one of my favorite Westies.
