I bought these as A. agassizii Tefe II, but they look like A. sp. Tefé compared to the photo's on apisto.sites.no. Can anybody verify this?
Thanks in advance!
Maybe it's how the photographed (lighting), but they don't look like A. sp. Tefé to me. The male shows none of the wavy bands on the body. It probably is a population of A. cf. agassizii BBCS (Broad Black Caudal Seam), a species that is found south of the main channel of the Amazon, from the Rio Madeira to the Atlantic coast. There is a population of A. agassizii that lives in the lower Rio Tefé, but it is the holotype form.
