I have a 20L which I want to use for breeding apisto Borelli yellow, I have just removed a 5" plec as it was destroying my plants but still have one Siamese algae eater and one cory catfish in there which I want to keep as they are cute and have become best buddies following each other around, if I introduce one male and two female Borelli, will they be able to breed and raise the fry successfully with these other two fish present?

Neil.

My preference with aggies (no, I'm not talking about Texas A&M:)) in a 20L is 1 male/2 females. Keep the other male in reserve. You never know when you will need him.
