I'm a new member in this apisto club . after I looked for the way to find and keep apisto for long time .Now I have some apisto and I'll try to breed them and this is my apisto picture of me ...

I have a problem wih this apisto .They didn't bond pairs. The male didn't interrest in my female.

Juvennile Cacatuoi , Easy to breed for me but the colour of my fish is not red colour .

The father of my caca in this picture is red colour when the first time, I bought but in after 3 mount the colour change from red to orange. like this

The red color in apistos will fade if they do not get enough color enhancers in their food (charatinoids I believe). I suggest feeding a good "color food", frozen/live brine shrimp and cyclops.
