German ram spawn

here's a pic of my german rams spawning.

it was really awesome to have them spawn 20hours after buying them from the LFS. also it was weird the female laid her eggs on the gravel.

as you can see in the picture, my sterbais came by and had a good meal.

how long until the female is ready to spawn if i condition with proper foods

Sorry it took so long for someone to get to this post!
I wouldn't be suprised if your female is getting close to laying again. They can lay eggs every week to week and a half. Get those corys out of there this time! You have a nice pair there. We want to see some pictures of their babies too.

obviously you will need to move them to a seperate tank for raising the fry. a tank size of 10 gallons or more should be sufficiate, the more room the better. a female ram should spawn every 2-4 weeks if conditions are right. she's likely to spawn more if you remove the eggs and artificially hatch them but you should try leaving the eggs with the parents to watch the interaction the first few times. it is quite interesting to watch. if they eat them it is normal for the first couple of spawns, just remember you can always move the eggs if they try to eat them. good luck! you are well on your way!
