Mine spawn like clockwork, but I've never witnessed it. Now maybe I'll watch them a little more often when the female is gravid. Thanks for posting this!

They spawn about every 3 weeks or so after releasing. I seem to be slow removing the fry and when they get a couple weeks old they eat whatever is left with them and spawn again. The male released a few a little while ago; I'll have to be better about pulling the fry, or at least most of them.
