Im wanting some A. cacatoides and I have a friend that has some fry she will be sending me(aint she sweet!). Just a curious question I have and please, feel free to chew me out, correct me hehe. I have a overplanted 15gallon. Could I raise them up in the tank, let them pair, and remove the rest and keep a breeding pair happily in there? Ive read they can be done with no problems in smaller tanks.
Its one thing to read up on species BUT I love to get personal first hand knowledge as well, makes it a rich learning experience.
So lemme hear what you all think. My friend has dble red cacs and I love those and just never got around to them. My tanks were always filled with quality angelfish, discus, and more. So now I got the room and want to try out dwarf cichlids.
