What is everyones thoughts on these are they pretty or is it more of a in the eye of beholder fish.
Debating about ordering a pair but concerned they will just look like wild cacatuoides.

I was interested in other Pelvicachromis that do well and breed in hard water?
What should I try next next - I admit I am spawn and move on person but I do spread the fry around.
Yeah I know the Viejita are little more than the Borelli can handle in the long run. I will probably move the Borelli out to another 12 gallon tank I have - I need to figure out what to do with the two big boys (Viejita CF and Bitanetia) I have in that tank. Of i just need to get a fourth tank...
Yeah those Agassizii looked amazing as well - but I always find them to be a shy fish - and always hiding. Is that typical of Agassizii.
But these gold Viejita are beautiful - they look to be quite healthy - but I have them in a 12 gallon with a pair of Borrelli I picked up from them as well...
I took a quick visit to the Annual ACA and picked up a pair of Gold Viejita (Probably should of picked up two pairs). Anyone have any experience with these do they breed readily - does anyone carry them in case I want a second pair?

Ok I have pair of Yellow / White Caucatodies and a pair of Viejita's that share a 12 gallon nano cube with two oto's and pair of pencil fish.
The yellow cac's breed quite easily but the babies seem to disapear right after the wiggler stage just when they start to swim around.

My YG Cauctodies Ate her fry as well
My YG Caucotodies laid and hatched like 50+ fry and everything seemed fine, however just as they ended the wiggler stage she started eating them.
I wonder if it was my fault for using a flashlight to look at them all the time, she did seem to get upset...
