Wait, they are all in the same tank? I though it might be crosscontamination between tanks.

The scratching symptom is possible, not a must. It cn also be another unrelated parasite.

Ive separated the ones with visible symptoms and started with antibiotics, also looking out for other fishes with symptoms in the main tank.

Which animal is affected? Species, sex, age? (If age unknown: How long have you had the fish?)
1. D37 female
2. Wild macmasteri Male (not sure if it's the
same disease as HITH coz its a tiny spec and could be a scratch
3. Eunotus cf. male half face Black
Have had them since 6months plus except D37 since 2months


What are the symptoms? Any changes in look, behaviour, bearing, buoyancy, fecies?
Behavior is normal except in eunotus, he seems shy and lazy. Rest all is looking ok.
In d37 its looking like a pimple rather than a hole.



How long has the problem been going on? (Timeline?) 2 days since i noticed.

What filter are you using? (Canister, sponge, internal, mattenfilter?)
Fluval 307 canister + over the top filter box


What's the maintenance regimen? (Waterchange volume and frequency, thorough cleaning of filters/substrate?)
30-40% water change every 10-14 days
