Based on published reports, the largest specimen in a museum collection is A. steindachneri (63 mm SL); in the home aquarium A. geisleri (slightly over 10 cm TL). I personally have had A. steindachneri reach 4"+ in my aquariums, but don't have preserved specimens to prove it.
