Tankmates for A. eunotus and A. Borelli

I've been researching on google and everything says to get corys and tetras.
I'm not really interested in that, as I have a 75 g tank with tons of space and would like a bigger fish.

I'm pretty attached to these guys though, so I don't want to put in any giants that will eat them up. What kind of BIG fish can I put with the eunotus and borelli?

giant gourami? Any other new world cichlids that wouldn't eat them?

(I've already had angelfish and don't really want to buy them again)

Discus or Uaru for really large fish. Otherwise you can take a chance on some of the smaller to medium, more mellow, eartheaters. Anything that is too large or too aggressive will cause your apistos to hide most of the time. Something to think about.

C. festivum, P. scalare, Discus, Uarus, they are some species that can be mixed with any problems.

Uarus are big but very nice fish, in big tanks some people have them with neons and other small tetras.
