Morning,

nice pics and set up. I use silaca sand though, as some apistos do dig and move sand to make theor entrances smaller for the fry etc. Like the oak leaves as well. cheers jk :biggrin:

Hi all,
Very nice set up. I'm like Bigbird I use silica sand as well. I'd may be keep any eye on the Cories as well, partially as the Apistos will eat any Corie eggs, and also possibly attack the Cories if they spawn themselves.

Is that java moss growing on the bog wood? It is great for biofilm and helps fry survival (if you leave the fry in the tank), a "big gnarly lump" was "electriceels" top tip for fry survival, and it really works.
