Taeniatus,
Welcome to the forum :!:
Uh Oh , sounds like a West African nut dabbling in Apists! A Dwarf is a Dwarf, of course, of course. Sorry I have been answering emails, etc. for 2 hours and I am kind of getting spacy.
Apistogramma cruzi is a relatively easy species to keep. Just give them clean water and a good variety of foods and they should do well. What are the water conditions that you are keeping them in? If you can provide a pH of a little below neutral and not too much hardness with a temp. of about 80 degrees it would be ideal.
There are several species-forms of cruzi and some are very nice, so depending on what you have, they could be pretty little fish. Have fun!
