Someone posted the picture below in a Dutch forum stating this is a N. anomola. But is it? I also recognize something of the N.adoketa, which it is not either. Somebody any idea?
I own a Czech strain of N. anomala, and they definitely have a red fringe along the dorsal. As a matter of fact, my males have quite a bit of red in the caudal fin as well. I feed my fish krill regularly, so perhaps the increased amount of red is due to diet, but this species can have some red in the fins.
