A few months ago I bought a young male Nanacara anomala, at least it was sold to me as Nanacara anomala.
The male is now subadult and it doesn’t look like a typical anomala male.
There is no dispute about its dominance.
I've made a lot of pictures and I hope someone can tell me if it's just a color variant of N. anomala, a different species or a hybrid.
I tried to make pictures of his anal fin and the spines, but unfortunately he is very active.
