I guess but some behave differently then others....Sounds like typical apisto behavior to me.
Looks like she only had 9 to 11 frys (which is similar to last 2 times); like the wolli she keeps them on the sponge filter (food i suppose) and she scoots off when i feed them bbs via a pipette -
This is very different to the kribs which will allow me to put my fingers next to the frys (i'm feeding them flakes now); or the e. lucaniusi which seems to bring the frys to the front for me to feed and take them away after i feed them.
In truth the africans (well kribs and el) seem more adaptive to new situations then a lot of the apisto. The n teugelsi less so.
Anyway as long as she keeps them on the sponge they are easy to feed as it is the back corner next to the glass and if a predator does show up they will just hope down between the glass and sponge where they can't be reached.
