Hello I am a University student that is currently studying Fisheries and Aquaculture. This semester I am enrolled in a warmwater husbandry course and so far its awesome. Our main project/goal for the semester is to pick an egglaying fish and successfully breed them and raise the juveniles. I'm getting so into the project that I am doubling my task and trying to breed/care for a pair of Apistos on my own time. The shop I am working with is great, knows what they are doing and are helping me out tons. I am currently stabilizing my new tank I got just got just for the Apistos and will be getting my fish in a couple days. Once I get the fish home I will get a picture up as I would like some help IDing them since the store got them from a hobbyist friend and neither of them are 100% positive on the ID.
Any help/tips/tricks would be much appreciated. I consider myself a beginner but I do understand and know how to maintain water parameters as the program I am enrolled in has me dealing with fish/water 24/7 practically. Good luck to you all!
