for the past month or so I've been wanting to get a pair or trio of triple red cacatoides and would possibly like to breed them but the problem is I believe my water is too hard from what I've read. my kH is 6 and my gH is 13. Ph is always around 6.4. Its a somewhat heavily planted with co2 injection. Is my water too hard to keep and breed apisto's?

Sounds just right for cacatoides! Keep the temp around 78 degrees F & you should be good to go.. What is the tank size & what other fish, if any?
