Hi All! I have been visiting this site regularly, and it is great! I have a 29 gallon community tank, a 75 gallon severum tank, and plan to set up a 55 gallon dwarf cichlid tank later. My question is, if I wanted to set up a little tank (10 gallon) now, could I put in a pair of Bolivian rams and a trio of checkerboards? I have the checkerboards in my 29 gallon community tank now - they are really cute! Also, would a few dithers be advisable? If so, would coral red pencilfish be a good choice, or are these not widely available? Thanks for the advice, as always! Shirley

I would do one or the other. I have kept Dicrossus sp. in pairs in tens, but that is about as small as I would go for one pair.Similar threads
