Dwarf Ram - not well - please help her

OK spotted my female ram was acting quite shy and saw she had a few white spots on her dorsal and a raised furry lump on her mouth. Treated her with phenoxymethanol and something for white spot just in case and the furry lump seems to have gone away and the white spots are fading (pretty sure it was mouth/fin rot) but she has a white patch above her gills on one side which doesnt seem to be improving and stringy poo! Doesn't seem to want to eat much or swim much! Water conditions are good - no nitrates, nitrites or ammonia and she's normally a very happy fish!

I'm now thinking she may have a secondary infection any ideas?

Make some very frequent large water changes. Clean water is the best hope for rams, once they get sick, they rarely come back...

They don't respond well to medicines. If you medicated for both ich and fungus, that might have thrown her for a loop. Hopefully she has some reserves built up and she can fight off the infection herself.

I've never had any luck with any antibiotics... so I won't recommend any. Other's might be able to, so see if anyone else has any ideas.

No luck though I'm afraid - she didnt make the weekend!

Now her mate's behaving weirdly but he looks very healthy (although a little pale) and have kept changing the water. Might just be cos he's on his own now for the time being!
