Dog-Like Behaviour!?!

I've been noticing some "strange" behaviour between my A.gibbiceps and A.velifera "Four-Stripes". It seems when my Male A.gibbiceps is the house he will only tolerate (1) of the (2) A.velifera "Four-Stripes" I own. And that specific one will show its "throat" area to the A.gibbiceps as if "submission" or "you are the boss" behaviour.

Seeing this behaviour in only canines, I am surprised to watch this with these 2 fish. Does anyone know what the hell is going on? I have a scary suspicion that something is going on between these two. If that is the case, I will have to remove the A.velifera "Four-Stripes" from the tank in fears of creating hybrids. Not a good thing.

your fears may be true crazygar,

but don't fret because as far as I know, A. gibbiceps and A. cf fourstripes aren't that closely related to create even viable eggs let alone young. What you are describing is courting behaviour and I wouldn't personally worry about a hybrid at all so removing the fourstripes isn't necessary.
