Colorless Cacatuoides???

Has anybody noticed that when they turn the lights on in the tank that the cacatuoides are almost colorless on thier entire body? Is this comon or is it time to update the perscription for my glasses 8O

colour in fish is neurohormonaly controlled and so when fish are resting/less active they will have less colour aparrent

particularly noticeable in things like cardinals/neons etc

if the fish has a regular light pattern as in nature then their ryhtmn can establish to fit with this
purchase a timer socket to run your light power cord through and set a regular on off time
