This is a question for anyone using CO2 with tubing other than the standard vinyl air line tubing. Has anyone ever used polypropylene?
Polypropylene's only chemical weakness is damage by strong acids (carbonic acid is a weak acid). It has a .03% water absorption rating, which is actually lower than than silicone. It is widely used in food preparation, and for tubing in fountain drink systems which use CO2.
Any aexperiences with polypropylene?
