Yuri - at what size did your male Fire Reds display colors on their tails? I got 7 juvies and am afraid they're all females. they're all ~ 1 inch, maybe 3CM tops...and none of them have male tails
Zenche - At 3 cm in size they should start to show difference in sexual dimorphism, though I would wait a little longer to be confident. Females are much smaller than males. For example my female is 3.5 cm only at approx 9 months age. The male is approx 8 cm. In other words if your apistos are all females they must be a few months old at 3 cm size.
