Thanks for the info, but it was just the head that was black...both sides of the head & he was dancing & displaying to the female. That's why I believed it to be breeding colors. It lasted almost 2 weeks also. I wouldn't think a stroke could last that long?

I was really hoping to get them breeding. Does anyone know where I can find another?
