No, A. roraimae is a different fish. A. roraimae has shorter dorsal & caudal extensions, finer & more regular abdominal streaks (instead of bars) even in the areas between the flank bars, and an irregularly shaped spot at the root of the tail that is separate from the lateral band.
A. gibbiceps grows longer dorsal & caudal extension, groups of broader abdominal streaks located where the flank bars occur (but, like A. iniridae, they can merge to make an broad, irregularly shaped abdominal band), and have a lateral band that extends into the base of the caudal fin.
I know what you mean. There must be a half dozen color morphs of A. gibbiceps, as well as populations with spots in the caudal fin. And then there is A. agassizii ...
