My male cockatoo has co-existed fine, raising fry and broods peacefully with my female for a few months now. All of a sudden I wake up today to find him chasing her around and being rather aggressive to her. Anybody know the reasoning behind this and should I be concerned? I have a tank to remove her into, but it's not cycled yet and I'm concerned for her well being.

just an update, I've put a mirror next to the tank and he's absolutely transfixed on it. He's flaring at it and he hasn't budged in over an hour.
The tank is a 10 gallon.
