well, after having thought I killed my female panduro with acid buffer, she completely recovered and surprised me with a clutch of eggs!. I watched her deposit them in the cup of a plastic plant about 20 minutes ago. Is there anything I should do to ensure that they hatch?

this morning I noticed that my female panduro had crusty looking skin covering her eyes& some stringy goo stuff coming out of her gills. she has been fine up until now. I used seachem's acid buffer for the first time last night, but it didn't affect the male at all or any of the other fish...
