This tank has been set up a week or so with established media. I am needing to fill it a bit more with plants but was just wanting a Centrepeice Fish, and thought an Apisto male might be a good idea. Its a Waterbox Cube 45x45x45cm.
What species Apistos would be the best suited?

As the title says im looking to set up my 15 gallon tank ( forget the wave maker in the pic) and just looking for suggestions? I know its quite small so a lot of species I couldnt do but was thinking about a Borelli pair?
Would it be worth getting some dither fish too or just leaving...
Had 10 rummys in my 3dt tank with my D39 pair and some espei rasboras and pygmy corys
But it was impossible to feed the poor apistos as the Rummys are ruthless eaters and smashed any food weather it hit the bottom of the tank or not. So I've just got the rasboras and pygmy corys in there now...
Was just thinking what the most active and interactive species of apisto is?
My borelli opal are very docile and come to the front when about to be fed but hardly see them during the day. I have heard cacatoides are a bit more active but would be interested to hear any other species activity...
hey guys ive got Plant Iron Sand in my tank now but imo it makes the borelli a little washed out esp with the black background, i think the dark sand makes it even worse. do Borellis pop more in colour with lighter coloured sand? thinking of switching it out
