Live food cultures: microworms, banana worms, Walter worms (UK/EU)

I have microworm, banana worm and Walter worm starter cultures for sale! Banana worms are smallest, then Walter worms, while microworms are largest. All three are best suited to fish which are under 5 cm long. I will happily send the link to a guide on how to keep the culture if you PM me...

    Apisto. baenschi

I have recently been asked to find a breeder on A. baenschi "Inka 50".. but I have been having problems finding out how the "Inka 50" are different from "Inka", are different from just A. baenschi. Is all this just one species? So far, I have come across mention that "Inka" was the...

    Wanted: breeder in Berlin!

Re: Poret foam Darrel, you might want to look here, here and here (last link is not real Poret). You are in luck as I will be visiting Bath/Warminster in December and can bring at least something back (so long as not too big), otherwise I would be happy to forward from here by means of Deutsche...

    Incorrect cockatoo ID?

Thanks for the help guys. Mike, if I come across something which I am not sure of when I have a few minutes spare, I will usually see what I can do.. But you are right, trying to correct everything is, unfortunately, a waste of time.

    Incorrect cockatoo ID?

This fish isn't actually a cockatoo, is it? It is currently being used as the main photo for the cockatoo article on Wikipedia.. if someone could confirm (or not) my suspicions, that would be very helpful as I would then be happier replacing it (or not!).

How to get rams to breed?

Re: Ram dieing every day need help Hi, please answer the following questions first: - What are your water conditions? pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, water hardness as well as anything else you can measure. - What is the set up? Substrate, decorations, plants. - How long has the tank been set...

    Crenicara

Hey, they do best in soft, acidic water: you would probably be looking at pH of around 5.5-6 for best results. Stocking depends on the layout of the tank (esp. availability of hiding places), but in your case, just a pair might be safest as they can be mildly aggressive when spawning.

    Finally took the Plunge

Congrats Congratulations on getting these beautiful fish! Nothing wrong with going straight for the difficult, my first experience with dwarf cichlids were two pairs of wild caught blue rams. They did very well for me: spawning on a regular basis, lived long and healthy lives (never even a sign...
