Here are two of the 6 I got. Sadly camera phones and fish do not mix well... I am pretty certain they are A. Paucisquamis given the descriptions in Romer and Staeck. The double spot threw me and part of me wished I had stumbled upon some Eliza's. Thanks!
Well... I finally have the opportunity to set up a tank and find some apistos again. I managed to come across hat was sold to me as paucisquamis. I picked up 6 as they are young still with only 1 starting to show more adult features and colouring.
The only thing that has me scratching my head...
Hey everyone,
I have a single female A. Trifasciata from an old spawn that has just maturity. So I am looking for a pair or a lone male Tri, or am willing to sell her to another harem in or around Vancouver. In either case I would like to find a mate for her. She is full of roe! The parents...
Hi Damon and welcome!
I would check out some of the venders on this site. They all do regular orders and will post availability lists. You may have to exercise some patience but you will find what you're looking for. Being in the states you will have access to most fish through major orders...
Ahhhh! I'm envious!! I've been dreaming of these guys for a long time! any thoughts on shipping to Canada someday??

Pics and params to come soon...
1.5 weeks ago I had a wild Aggie Flamenco male spawn with a tank raised female. Now there's about 30 fry that are free swimming. I already have them going on BBS... Hopefully I get a good survival rate
And today I found my Bitae's have spawned! Maybe about...
Sup guys,
Hey Star, it's been a while. I hope life's treating you well.
I have not found too much either. I have dealt with Apisto Dave a couple of years ago and had a good experience there. I know Red has had otherwise... Sorry to hear that man...
Come a little later in the year I...

I would be more concerned about how your pH swung up over a degree. The pH scale is logarithmic, so that one degree is...
Duuuude.....
Nice wheels! Gotta say I love hot rods man... Too much fun. I love the old shovel head motors too. They're just cool, too bad they're so bloody finicky!
Hello spruce!
Welcome to the forum. This has been one of the best places for information on various apisto species that I have found.
Like you I am also in Vancouver, but I have a hard time finding apistos north of the border, let a lone a reliable source for them. I do find that Big...
I have found small ancistrus to be quite excellent algae eaters! That and they are prety shy so they won't pose a big threat to any potential eggs. Good luck!
Being a touch younger myself, the women in my life that are here at one point may not necessarily be there the next. However, as I am getting older and actually begin figure out what I look for in someone I have realized that I need them to be understanding of me. This includes my many hobbies...
