Me too! :)

Not much in the USofA, Janos. I have put some feelers out in Europe to see if there are Chromido. sp. I can bring back in February. So far Anton has said he can get me C. melaniae, which I will take him up on. Space will be limited, but I hope to bring back enough to ensure a good breeding group or two.

Ted: Feel free to put me down on top of your list for the C. melaniae. :) Don't let Jeff sweet-talk you into putting him ahead of me!

Seriously: I'd be happy to chip in for having the fish shipped over here. I know this can get pretty expensive.

Ted, throw out your clothes and bring back fish. I brought back ~150 fish from Peru in my luggage. I listed the fish on my customs form. The customs checker didn't even blink. He asked me what live animals I had. I said, "Fish". He said, "Fish? No problem. Fish are OK". Just don't tell the domestic carriers what's in your bag. The TSA checked my bag & let everything pass - including my coca herbal tea bag!

I hear you Mike, and I do intend to donate a lot of old clothes to the people of Cameroon... and soccer balls (lots of space in bags after taking out soccer balls). Your experience with bringing in fish is one that others have reported, but there have also been people who have been raked over the coals. I am going to do it official with an import permit. just in case.
