I know this is a apisto forum. But I've looked every where to try and find these fish, and I thought somebody on all these sites has to be keeping one of them if not all. there's three here they are
1. Dwarf scarlet badis /Dario dario

2. Golden-eyed Dwarf Cichlid / Nannacara anomala

3. Nigerian red taeniatus / Pelvicachromis taeniatus

There is a couple of more I'm looking for but I will start with those. So if someone knows someone who' keeping or breeding these. Please let me know either pm me or post. I'm trying to locate them for a new spices tanks. I'm setting up and when I asked about them on another site they told me those wasn't even in the hobbie no more.
So If you can either find them get them or have them could you let me know where you got them from.
And thanks before hand.

The Nigerian forms of P. taeniatus are hard to find for some reason. Very few wild fish are imported. The 'Nigeria red' morph is most likely an aquarium strain anyway. You might try Tony Orso ([email protected]). He imports from Europe quite a bit, and thet is where they would most likely come from.

I just got 10 Dario dario... 8 males and 2 females. I guess it is pretty common to get mostly males. Mine came from Pete Mang in Tonowanda, NY. I won them on an auction on AB put up by his wife Sue. Her AB id is imakettle.

I thought I had lost the N anomala. I was sad. Then I looked in a tank that was high up on a shelf and low and behold, there was a pair with about 20 kids. I now have about 30 ready to go.
