New to cychlids

Hi, I have a bowfront community tank and a friend just gave me a 30 gallon. I'd like to think about dwarf cichlids, but don't know whether they would fit in a 30. There are certainly some amazing dwarf cichlids. Even if I have to get a bigger tank--years down the road--I can certainly start learning about them. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum! I don't see why you wouldn't be able to keep some dwarf cichlids in a 30g once you get the water parameters right!
