What exactly is glossiostigma?. Do you plant it or scatter seeds? What lighting/ soil/ CO2 requirements does it have? Thanks!

My success with it has always been associated with bright light and CO2. I have never done so well with it that it created lawns though. It will actually do pretty well 'netted' to a piece of rock or driftwood. To net it, cut a piece of plastic onion or potato bag mesh large enough to cover the surface of the object you want the plants growing on. Tie one side of the net down with thread around the object. Lay the plants under the net very close together. The closer they are, the more dense the planting will be when it grows. Pull the netting tight over the plants and tie down the other side. The plants will grow up through the net.

The problem with this method is that eventually it will have to be redone (mine usually last about 6 months). If you keep it well trimmed it will last longer. This method works very well with riccia.
